Application
We do things differently, especially with Toners and Day Care application…

MORNING
Cleansing Cream, with its earthy aroma, is our gentle ‘press and roll’ morning shower cleanse that respects the pH of the skin. Cleansing Cream has been in our range for 40 years, standing the test of time, with it’s gentle and restorative myriad of ingredients including a base of Sweet Almond Meal which binds to dirt on the skin after the nights elimination activity; Anthyllis (woundwort), Calendula, Wheat Germ Oil, Chamomile and Hypericum (St.John’s wort).

• Mix a large pea size with some water in the palms of your hands
• PRESS & ROLL from the centre of your face, outwards to the lymph nodes.  Bathroom floors are for scrubbing, not our skin.

Facial Toner or Clarifying Toner
Close eyes and spray directly onto the skin, NO cotton pads.

Day Care
• Warm your choice of day cream in the palms of your hands, this melts plant waxes, which are there to protect your skin from environmental factors
• Apply to skin that’s STILL MOIST FROM TONER from centre outwards towards lymph nodes. Our Day Care products are concentrated and precious. They are designed to be applied to a moist skin. This
• Process ensures gentle, even application and guards against overuse of product.

EVENING
Cleansing Milk
Gentle cleansing for make up removal. Apply from centre of the face, outwards and remove with a warm moist cloth.

Facial Toner or Clarifying Toner
IS our night treatment, close eyes and spray unless you are completing an intensive 28 night (skin cell cycle is 28 days) Rhythmic Conditioner treatment. Rhythmic Conditioners are topical homoeopathic treatments based in a saline solution.

SKIN CONDITIONS AND DAY CREAM APPLICATION

As the protective covering of the body, the human skin is exposed to external and internal influences which can weaken it.  This may result in dryness, lack of moisture or overproduction of oil as well as premature aging.  Dr.Hauschka Skin Care regards these changing skin conditions as transient skin states and does not divide the skin into static types.

By addressing the skin as a holistic organ and stimulating its natural functions, Dr.Hauschka Skin Care products encourage the skin to exert its own powers or regeneration.

Protection requirements vary, certainly seasonally and even weekday skin care when perhaps in an air conditioned environment or outside exposed to the elements - as opposed to weekend skin care may have differing needs.

Dr.Hauschka Face Care includes preparations which, on their own, or they may be mixed in combinations, offer the right day care for all skin conditions.  Many conditions are in fact a combination (such as oily/sensitive) and often we find skin condition s are incorrectly diagnosed, or a skin that is still being treated, at forty, in the same manner it was in that person’s twenties.

All our Day Creams are for day time, when we protect our skin against environmental factors.
